WIND ENERGY AND THE 2030 AGENDA: AN ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACTS ON THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN PEDRA LAVRADA-PB.
SDGs; 2030 Agenda; Renewable Energy; Wind Energy.
In the context of sustainable development, the energy transition to renewable sources is fundamental to achieving the goal of a low-carbon economy. Aiming to guide public policies and encourage social actors to promote sustainable development worldwide, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were created as part of the 2030 Agenda action plan. In this sense, addressing the context of renewable energies, especially wind power, this study aims to analyze the impacts of wind farms in Pedra Lavrada-PB, relating them to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Regarding methodological procedures, the research is characterized as mixed-methods, combining techniques, methods, and concepts of qualitative and quantitative research. It is configured as applied, exploratory, and a case study, with Pedra Lavrada-PB as the object of analysis. Data collection instruments included bibliographic and documentary research, and semi-structured interviews with actors involved in the field of analysis. The IRAMUTEQ software will be used for content analysis, and finally, data triangulation will be performed: triangulation of sources (bibliographic corpus, legal documents, IDSC-BR indicators, interviews and observation), methodological triangulation, and theoretical triangulation.
